Meet Dr. Hiser

Douglas G. Hiser, DMD, MS

Dr. Douglas G. Hiser completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky. He stayed at Kentucky to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating from the UK School of Dentistry with honors. Dr. Hiser was subsequently one of two dentists accepted into the Orthodontic Graduate Program at the University of Kentucky. After completing the three-year orthodontic program, he received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree.

Dr. Hiser is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Dental Association and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists. He has completed courses of study at the Charles H. Tweed Foundation for International Research in Tucson, Arizona and the Dawson Institute in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Hiser has also successfully completed Phase I and Phase II of the American Board of Orthodontics certification process.

When not involved with orthodontics, Dr. Hiser can be found sharing time with his son Jacob. They enjoy playing sports together, watching sporting events and playing board games. Dr. Hiser also enjoys running and golf, but his most precious time in life is the time spent with his son.
